ESPN’s College GameDay rolls Harrisburg, Virginia this week for a top-fifteen matchup in the FCS when James Madison takes on Colonial Athletic Association rival Richmond. Week 8 of the college football season has only just gotten started, but it seems like the show has already made its decision for next week.
College GameDay’s host Rece Davis has said that the game between the Temple Owls and Notre Dame Fighting Irish next Saturday is the likely landing spot for the show.
The show would be emanating from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the first time in history if it is confirmed.

The Owls beat East Carolina Thursday night to get out to its first 7-0 start in school history. The Irish are off this week, so there is nothing that could keep the show from heading to Lincoln Financial Field next week.
Of course, some fans are pushing for another destination. The Washington State Cougars are 4-2 and if they can get past Arizona this week, they would be in sole possession of second place in the PAC-12 North.
They host Stanford next week and that game could be for first place in the division, making that game a big competitor for the matchup on the east coast.
