Los Angeles is going to have an NFL team soon. Earlier this week, the San Diego Chargers announced they would be putting in an application for relocation to Los Angeles.
It was likely that the Chargers would have competition in their move and it was announced Sunday morning that two teams have joined the fray. According to Pro Football Talk, the Oakland Raiders and St. Louis Rams, both teams who have played in Los Angeles in the past, have joined the bidding for a move to the City of Angels.
The Chargers and Raiders have been working on a deal to share a stadium in Los Angeles, so it’s likely that two teams would win the bid to move the city. You know, two is always better than one, so the Rams could be on the outside looking in.
