Thus continue the off-field issues for Epps, who has been in trouble multiple times before with issues ranging from theft to DUI. He was dismissed from the team prior to the 2014 season before being reinstated in the spring, and was seen on video stealing from the campus store over the summer. This season, he had a team best 61 receptions for 762 yards and two touchdowns.

But odds are that Epps has run out of chances following this latest slip-up. The sports world has taken a hard stand on violence against women, and it would be a shock if Epps returned to the team at this point. In his collegiate career, he has 140 catches for 1,742 yards and six touchdowns. This season, Idaho has gone 3-4 (2-2 Sun Belt) with Epps on the team.

Campus Sport will update Epps’ status with the team should any new information beyond this become available.
