The Central Florida Golden Knights haven’t had a good season at all. The team is 0-8 on the year and long-time head coach George O’Leary just announced his resignation and retirement this past weekend.
There has been a glimmer of hope in this sea of darkness for fans though. Earlier this year, one Orlando bar made the bold statement of giving free beer until the team won a game.
While that local bar might not have the funds to actually meet those demands, a pretty large company is doing something of the same sort. According to Bleacher Report, Uber is offering free rides to UCF fans until the team pulls out a victory.
Now, the catch is that you have to be a new user, but you don’t have to actually be a UCF fan. They have given out a code and any first-time user can take advantage of it.

This may help ease the pain of some Golden Knight fans, but I can almost guarantee that they won’t be using it to go to the game. This nightmare of a season is almost over for the fan base in Orlando and Uber is trying to do anything they can to help them through the last month.
