Robert Nkemdiche cleared to play vs Auburn

The Ole Miss Rebels weren’t hurting for defensive players last week in their dominate win over Texas A&M, but it sure would have helped them to have one of their best players on the field. It now looks like they will when they play Auburn on Saturday.

Defensive end Robert Nkemdiche suffered a concussion two weeks ago in a loss to Memphis while he was playing fullback. He had been cleared to play last Friday, but the team kept him out after he woke up Saturday morning with headaches.

According to College Spun, Nkemdiche has once again been cleared to play this weekend on the road against Auburn. The report came from Courtney Smith, beat writer for The Rebel Walk.

Ole Miss will have Robert Nkemdiche back for Auburn. That's scary looking at how the defense played w/out him against Texas A&M.

Nkemdiche is without a doubt one of the best defensive linemen in the country and is regarded as a top ten NFL Draft pick for next season. The Rebels looked absolutely scary on defense last week against one of the better offenses in the conference.

I can only imagine what Nkemdiche and the rest of the Landsharks will do to the Tigers.
