Christmas Day is always a big day for the NBA, and this season features five key games. The New Orleans Pelicans take on the Miami Heat, the Chicago Bulls face the Oklahoma City Thunder, fans get an in-state battle when the Houston Rockets meet the San Antonio Spurs, the Los Angeles Lakers battle the Los Angeles Clippers for city pride and, finally, fans get an NBA Finals rematch when the Cleveland Cavaliers meet the Golden State Warriors.
Christmas Day also means that the teams playing get to wear special uniforms just once. Thanks to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, we now know that the NBA has opted to go for a classic look.
The jerseys, made by Adidas, simply hit the mark. They don’t go for Christmas flair, but still get the job done. Needless to say, if you find yourself looking for something to watch on Christmas Day before It’s A Wonderful Life comes on, be sure to watch some basketball to see these duds in action!
