It is certainly the Halloween season and one of the most fun things to do is try and scare the hell out of your friends. The Houston Cougars took a page out Ohio State’s book and pulled off an epic mannequin prank inside their fieldhouse.
Houston associate athletic director for strategic communication David Bassity dressed up like one of the mannequins showing off their uniforms and yelled “Go Cougs” at unsuspecting people as they passed by. Wide receiver Demarcus Ayers ans head coach Tom Herman even fell for the prank.
It may be used by a lot of college football programs today, but it still gets people and it is still always funny. Right now, the Cougars have been scaring a lot of their opposition with their dominant offense, so it must have been nice to do the same to some of their own players.
The 7-0 Cougars host the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday. The game begins at 7 p.m. and it will be televised on ESPN2.
