The Michigan Wolverines have a special player in freshman Jabrill Peppers and they certainly know it. He made a huge impact for the team this week as they held of the upset bid of the Minnesota Golden Gophers and won 29-26.
According to mlive.com, Peppers was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Monday, which is the second time he has won the award this year. He contributed to 92 total plays for the Wolverines, making an impact on offense, defense, and special teams.
He almost 100 total yards on the day as he 41 on punt return, 43 on kickoff return, and 16 rushing yards. He also scored his first career touchdown, scoring from six yards out on a wildcat play in the second half.
On the year, he has 26 tackles, seven pass breakups, and 429 total yards, which is third best on the team.
