Games to watch, Week 10: Previews and predicitons

-

The road to the College Football Playoff has official began and it could get shaken to its absolute core this week! A few teams’ destinies can be decided this weekend and it is sure to be a wild week! What are the best games to watch? Let’s find out!

ACC: 20 Florida State at 6 Clemson

The Clemson Tigers have been given the number one ranking in the CFP rankings and they don’t want to blow that this week. They know that they must come out and play their game and not get sucked into the Seminoles’ ground-and-pound game.

The Seminoles showed that they can play without their big superstars on offense, but that was against Syracuse. If Dalvin Cook and Everett Golson aren’t 100 percent, this could be a long day for Jimbo Fisher’s team. I think the Tigers have too much riding on this game to let it slip by them.

Clemson wins, 35-23

American Athletic Conference: Navy at 14 Memphis

This is a matchup of two very good and very different quarterbacks. Navy, led by Keenan Reynolds, is that in your face, grind it out type of offense, while Memphis, led by Paxton Lynch, is that offense that can score at will.

Despite being 8-0 with a win over an SEC school, the Tigers want to prove they belong in the discussion of not only a top ten appearance, but possibly as being a dark horse for the CFP. It’s a long shot, but if they can win out and win impressively, the Tigers could make it very hard on the selection committee.

Memphis wins, 41-28
