Duke basketball fans can rest easy as it has been reported that senior forward Amile Jefferson didn’t break his ankle. He left Wednesday’s exhibition game against Livingston early after suffering an ankle injury.
The Duke captain will likely not miss as much time as expected.
It was reported by Stephen Wiseman of the Durham Sun-Herald that x-rays confirmed a sprained ankle for Jefferson.
Jefferson has been given no timetable for his return, but I’m sure the Blue Devil fans are happy to know that the injury isn’t as serious as it could be.
The Blue Devils open up the regular season on November 13 when they host Siena.
