4-star 2016 wide receiver Trevon Diggs commits to Alabama

Trevon Diggs is a four-star wide receiver in the 2016 college football recruiting class and had quite a few choices to choose from in his recruiting process. According to his personal Twitter account, he has decided to commit to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Committing to the Crimson Tide has become something of a normal thing for top prospects. Nick Saban has made them one of the more attractive schools in the nation and they always seem to be among the most competitive schools as well. He has had large amounts of recent success and has had quite a few superstar receivers over the years.

Diggs is a 6-foot-2 receiver out of The Avalon School in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He has excellent speed to go along with impressive athleticism and a great pair of hands.

There is no question that Diggs has a bright future ahead of him at Alabama. He not only has shown that he has a great work ethic and will be working with great coaches, but he also has a very successful wide receiver as an older brother.

Stefon Diggs is a rookie wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL and has become the No. 1 target for Teddy Bridgewater. Having that type of a presence to learn from is going to be a major key for Diggs moving forward. He may not become quite as good as his brother, but he certainly has a chance to.

Expect to see Diggs become a key part of the Alabama offense in the early stages of his college career and to prove that joining the Crimson Tide was the right decision for his football career.
