Bizarre finish gives Montana 33-27 win over Idaho State

The Montana-Idaho State game on Saturday certainly ended in an unexpected way.

The Grizzlies and Bengals were tied at 27 with one second left on the clock as Zak Johnson lined up for a game winning field goal. The snap sailed over the head of holder Tanner Gueller.

The ball was picked up and then thrown into the air by JR Nelson. Eric Johnson took the ball back all the way for the touchdown.

This gave the Grizzlies a 33-27 win as they moved to 5-4 on the year and the Bengals fell to 2-7.

What a crazy way to end a game.
