Gary Pinkel shows support for team amidst controversy

One of the most interesting stories to develop this weekend is the one in Columbia, Missouri. The black members of the Missouri football team have announced that they will be boycotting all football activities until university president Tim Wolfe amidst racial tensions rising on campus.

Head coach Gary Pinkel tweeted out Sunday morning that he would be standing with his players. He posted a picture of the entire team posing at a team meeting and it shows unbelievable unity from the Tigers.

It is going to be very hard for the university to ignore this now that the head coach is standing with his team as opposed to keeping quiet on the matter. The school is certainly going to want to keep this situation quiet and it seems like there is only one way to do so right now.
