Jason Pierre-Paul activated by Giants

Jason Pierre-Paul will make his season debut today against the Buccaneers as he has been activated by the Giants.

Pierre-Paul signed a one-year deal incentive laden deal in late October after being out for four months due to hand injuries caused by a fireworks accident on the Fourth of July.

The team was granted a two-game roster exemption to allow him to practice without counting against the 53-man cap, beginning with last week’s practices. After one week the Giants saw him fit enough to return.

Pierre-Paul’s last game action was coincidentally also against Tampa Bay on Dec. 28 2014.
