Mark Stoops doesn’t think team believed they could beat Georgia

Honesty is always the best policy.

In an interview with Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops, he answered just that. Honestly.

It seemed like Saturday, if any game day, would be one in which Kentucky might be able to pull a win, with Georgia’s Nick Chubb out, rising questions about Mark Richt’s job and an unsettled quarterback situation, but even still, Kentucky wasn’t able to win the game, and Stoops credits the loss to a lack of self-confidence.

A pretty interesting response, don’t you think?
