Packers fan wants Cam Newton arrested

I’m sure many fans want Cam Newton arrested for one reason or another, but this guy believes he has a legitimate reason.

Mike Dobs, a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, wants Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton arrested for misdemeanor larceny after Newton stole his sign and tossed it away before Sunday’s game against the Packers.

According to the Fayetteville Observer, Dobs said the sign cost $500 to print and Newton ripped it away while warming up before the game. Reason being that the sign was disrespectful as the game was in the Panthers’ home stadium.

Newton commented on the sign after the Panthers beat the Packers, 37-29.

“It was a Green Bay banner in Bank of America Stadium,” Newton said. “It just doesn’t match. No disrespect to any Green Bay Packers there, it’s just a respect thing. We take pride in having an edge in playing in front of the Carolinas each and every week.

“It’s something that I feel it’s my due diligence to protect this house. You’re not about to sell a Whopper at a McDonald’s. That’s the gist of the story.”

I honestly didn’t believe it until I saw this:
