The St. Louis Rams worked out veteran wide receiver Wes Welker on Monday and it looks like the team could be in desperate need of bolstering their depth on the outside.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey is set to begin serving a four-game suspension for violating the violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

Along with Welker, the Rams worked out Hakeem Nicks and Vincent Brown.
If the team was impressed by any of the vets, quarterback Nick Foles could soon have a new target while Bailey serves his suspension. This season, Bailey has hauled in 12 catches for 182 yards and a touchdown.
