Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is easily one of the best coaches in college football history. At Bowling Green, Utah, and Florida, he left a lasting legacy a winning record at every one of the schools.
In 2012, he took over the Ohio State Buckeyes after they had a tumultuous 6-6 season. Since then, the Buckeyes have been one of the best teams in college football, winning at least 12 games in Meyer’s first three years.
On Saturday, the Buckeyes defeated Minnesota 28-14 to move to 9-0 on the year. The game was Meyer’s 50th as Ohio State head coach and the win set some pretty impressive records for him.
That's 22-straight wins for Urban Meyer, 29-straight in conference, as he becomes the first coach to win 47 of his first 50 at a school.

If that doesn’t mark Meyer down as one of the greatest coaches of all time, I don’t know what will. Maybe this team going back to the College Football Playoff and bringing home another national championship would do the trick.
