The North Carolina Tar Heels have certainly made one of the biggest turnarounds this year.
The team has won eight straight games since opening with a loss to South Carolina and they have a chance to lock up the ACC Coastal division this weekend.
This has certainly caught the attention of a lot of prospects across the country.
One big name recruit that is expressing his interest with the Tar Heels is four-star defensive end Jake Lawler.
UNC is putting together one of the most incredible turnaround seasons that I've seen, from 6-7 to 8-1 (and counting). Awesome to witness.

The Tar Heels also know that Lawler is one of the best defensive players in the country for the class of 2017 and they are going to great lengths to try and recruit him.
The six-foot-three, 225-pound defensive end from Charlotte, North Carolina is the 12th ranked weak side defensive end in the country and fourth overall player in the state. The Tar Heels currently have the 19th ranked recruiting class for 2017 with just two recruits and adding on a third and their first four-star guy would certainly help their case in the rankings.
