Ben Simmons hung out with LSU legend Shaquille O’Neal

Shaquille O’Neal is one of the best players in LSU Tiger history. He is the only LSU player to ever go No. 1 in the NBA Draft and was the recipient of the Adolph Rupp Trophy given to the best player in the NCAA in 1991.

On Wednesday, he was seen hanging out with another player that could soon reach legendary status with LSU.

Freshman Ben Simmons shared a picture of him and Shaq hanging out with some young LSU fans and it was pretty cool.

Simmons has yet to step on the court for the Tigers, but fans are already very excited about him. He has already been touted as next year’s top pick in the NBA Draft.

Simmons and O’Neal are two very different players when it comes to the court, but if Simmons reaches Shaq’s level of success, there is no doubt that he will be remembered fondly by LSU fans.
