Cleveland Browns among teams interested in Matthew Stafford

|

After going 11-5 and making the playoffs last year, many would have thought the Detroit Lions would be pretty good this year. However, the Lions have had a pretty dismal season up to this point, sitting at a 1-7 record.

It seems as though the Lions may be looking to revamp their offense, or tear it down completely as it is being reported that they might be considering shipping off 27-year-old quarterback Matthew Stafford, who still has two years left on his contract after this year.

According to Waiting For Next Year, the Cleveland Browns are among the teams expressing interested in acquiring Stafford.

The Browns join the San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, and New York Jets as teams that all need a guy to step in and lead their team.

I’m sure the Browns wouldn’t be too upset about trading away a low draft pick for Stafford. He is someone that can come in and be a starter for the Browns without question.

What do you think fans? Would you like to see Stafford trade his blue and silver for brown and orange?
