Teddy Bridgewater cleared, expected to play Week 10

On Sunday, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater went down with what appeared to be a serious head injury as he laid unconscious and motionless on the field.

Miracuously, however, Bridgewater cleared the first step of concussion protocol earlier this week.

On Wednesday, the quarterback took another step closer to returning to the lineup for Week 10 when he was officially cleared by team doctors.

It is shocking to see Bridgewater returning to the field so quickly, but you have to have faith in the doctors.

At a time when the NFL is focusing on preventing brain injuries, it would be a horrible look to send someone back onto the field before he was really ready to get on the field.
