The 2015-16 basketball season officially tips off tonight and the Kentucky Wildcats, ranked number two in the country, are looking to get back to their winning ways this year. After going 38-0 and falling to Wisconsin in the Final Four, they are looking to redeem themselves this year and their second-ranked recruiting class will be a big part of their success.
However, the Wildcats may be without one of the biggest pieces of their recruiting class for the first weekend of play. It was reported by CoachCal.com that five-star freshman Isaiah Briscoe suffered a minor knee injury which may keep him out of this weekend’s games.
Isaiah Briscoe bumped knees with Hawkins and is day-to-day, Cal says. Adds he isn't sure if he will play Friday-Saturday.

It doesn’t seem like a major injury and the Wildcats don’t have two big tests this weekend. Keeping Briscoe out may be the smartest thing for this team to do.
The Wildcats tip off with Albany tonight at 7 p.m. and host New Jersey Institute of Technology on Saturday.
