Panthers DE Charles Johnson had to buy ticket to game

Carolina Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson has been on IR since the end of September, but that hasn’t stopped him from going to games to support his team. But today offered a cruel twist of fate.

Per a tweet from Johnson, he had to buy his own ticket into Nissan Stadium after being denied entrance immediately.

When u standing in front of the Staduim with no ticket @Panthers smh. Guess I'll buy my own ticket lol ( serious ) pic.twitter.com/cgXn5ItVJi

In the words of anyone watching football at home today, PARTY FOUL. Johnson has been an excellent pass rusher for the Panthers since the team drafted him out of Georgia in 2007, so stadium employees should know who he is.

Hopefully, this is the first and last time that this happens.
