Report: Maryland has not spoken to Lane Kiffin

Earlier this week, it was reported that the fiery offensive coordinator of the Alabama Crimson Tide Lane Kiffin had interviewed for the head coaching vacancy at Maryland. It was just a report and it seems like that it has turned out to be false.

According to SI’s Pete Thamel, Maryland has not spoken with Kiffin and they aren’t going to. Kiffin hasn’t had a head coaching position since he was fired from USC in 2013.

Kiffin just became the Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator in January, so it’s likely that he will be sticking around in Tuscaloosa. What do you think, Terrapin fans? Would you like to see Kiffin leading your team?
