UNC remains atop latest AP Top 25


The North Carolina Tar Heels remained at the top of the latest AP Top 25 rankings released today after key wins over Temple and Fairfield. The Top 5 remained unchanged, rounded out by Kentucky, Maryland, Kansas and Duke.

Key subtractions from the Top 25 included Wisconsin, who suffered a stunning loss to Western Illinois before bouncing back to beat Siena. They were replaced in the Top 25 by Oregon, who made their presence known with a win over the SWAC’s Jackson State Tigers.
