Michigan State head coach is usually not the one to talk a lot of trash when it comes to his team’s two biggest rivals. He, just like anyone else in the Big Ten, understands that the rivalry between Michigan and Ohio State is one of the biggest in the country.
However, Dantonio still doesn’t like to recognize how big it is in that part of the country.
On Tuesday, one reporter asked him about the importance and impact that rivalry has on the Midwest and his response was sweet, short, and pretty hilarious.
The Spartans have never had a large rivalry with either the Buckeyes or the Wolverines.
If Dantonio is to lead the Spartans to a win over the Buckeyes this weekend, it would surely do something to boost up the rivalry with them.
