Rob Chudzinski among serious candidates for Miami job

It seems like the Miami Hurricanes are getting very close to finding their next head coach and it looks like they will likely be stealing a coach away from another program.

There is a reported list of six serious candidates for the job right now and it seems that a coach with an NFL team has made that list.

According to NFL.com, Indianapolis Colts associate head coach Rob Chudzinski is reportedly a serious name on the list for the Miami job. He joins former coach Butch Davis, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Rutgers coach Greg Schiano, Texas head coach Charlie Strong, Alabama offensive line coach Mario Cristobal, and Houston head coach Tom Herman.

Chudzinski is just another one of the names on the list that has ties with the Hurricanes. He was a starting tight end for the team for three years and helped them win national championships in 1987 and 1989 as well as being a coach with the team from 1994-2003.

He has some experience leading a team, albeit an NFL team. He was the head coach of the Cleveland Browns for one season and went 4-12 with them in 2013.
