The latest installment in the popular Call of Duty video game franchise, Black Ops III, dropped to the entire world just last week and people have already been playing the heck out of it. Some have messed around on it so much that they found some gems hidden throughout the game.
These gems are affectionately referred to as “Easter eggs” in the gaming world and this particular one was found on the arguably the most popular map in the entire Call of Duty franchise: Nuketown.
It takes some speed and it probably was figured out by someone being VERY bored in a late night Call of Duty rager.
The Easter egg is triggered by you and your friends running around the map and shooting off the arms of the many mannequins around the map within the first two minutes of the game.
After that is done, the mannequins will turn into zombies and begin chasing you, but they won’t come at you if you are looking at them, which is very creepy.
This is very similar to the Creeping Angels in the popular sci-fi show “Doctor Who.” It also reminds me a lot of the creepy little ghosts in Super Mario World.
Call of Duty has had some pretty creepy scenes in their games, but this one certainly takes the cake.
