Urban Meyer comments on possibility of high number of early entrants

If you follow the reports, Ohio State is due to lose a lot of players to the NFL Draft after this season.

In SI.com’s latest NFL mock draft, the Buckeyes have seven players getting selected in the first round. That would break Miami’s record of six players taken in the first round back in 2004.

Of the seven projected to go in the first round, five are underclassmen. Earlier this afternoon, head coach Urban Meyer addressed the possibility of losing so much talent.

Urban Meyer asked if he anticipates this being the last home game for a lot of the Buckeyes juniors. “Not a lot, but I would imagine a few"

Although it will be tough to replace the likes of Joey Bosa, Ezekiel Elliot and possibly even Cardale Jones and Darron Lee, the Buckeyes have had some stud recruiting classes.

Their 2016 class is said by many to be the best in the nation.
