ASU fans prank Arizona by giving school land back to Mexico

The Arizona Wildcats battle the Arizona State Sun Devils this Saturday in the battle for the Territorial Cup. The game is in Tempe this year, so the Sun Devil fans wanted to do something creative when they prank the Arizona fans.

A group of Sun Devil fans got together and came up with an elaborate prank that nearly gave Mexican residents the right to come into the country and attend the University of Arizona. The Arizona State fans concocted a petition, which they called “Prop 200”, and went to Arizona’s campus.

They went around campus, posed as Arizona students, and got students, and some faculty, to sign the petition that would give the school land back to Mexico, making it legal for Mexicans to attend school across the border. The best thing is that the Arizona school newspaper, The Daily Wildcat, picked up the story and reported it on their website, but quickly deleted it upon learning about the prank.

This rivalry has always been an entertaining one, but this pushed things over the top. This game is surely going to be a fun one to watch.
