N.C. State Wolfpack guard Terry Henderson underwent surgery on his injured right ankle and is expected to be out for the next six to eight weeks, per an AP report.
Henderson, a redshirt junior who transferred from West Virginia, tore ankle ligaments in his first game for N.C. State, the team’s season opening loss to William & Mary. At this rate, Henderson won’t be back until after N.C. State’s ACC schedule begins.
In his sole season with the Mountaineers, Henderson posted 11.7 points per game.
Once he is back in action, he should provide plenty of depth and athleticism on the wing as the tough and defensive Wolfpack continue to try and make noise in the fast-paced ACC.
