PSG to wear ‘Je Suis Paris’ jerseys to honor Paris victims

Paris Saint-Germain FC announced that the team will be wearing jerseys with “Je Suis Paris” written on the front, underneath the team’s emblem to honor the victims of Friday’s gruesome terrorist attacks.

Last Friday, 129 people were killed in several coordinated terrorist attacks throughout Paris. France’s friendly match with Germany at the Stade de France was a target, as explosions took place outside the stadium.

The move is similar to the “Je Suis Charlie” jerseys the team wore last year after the Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris last year.

PSG’s next home game will be on Nov. 28 against Troyes.
