Charles Woodson was one of the best players that the Michigan Wolverines have ever had in their football program. He won a Heisman Trophy award and was an impact player in every aspect of the game. Now, there is a player currently on the Michigan roster that reminds many of Woodson.
Jabrill Peppers was a huge recruiting prize for the Wolverines and is coming into his own.
Woodson took the time to talk about Peppers and heaped praise on the young player. Michigan has to be excited about the comments that Woodson made and the fan base should be expecting big things from Peppers.
Peppers has been very solid on both sides of the football and on special teams this season. He has recorded 37 tackles and seven defensed passes on the defensive side of the football, while also playing some offensive positions and returning punts and kicks.
Jim Harbaugh is lucky to have a player with that kind of ability on the roster.
While the words of praise are awesome to hear from Woodson, Peppers still has a lot of developing to do. He is a sophomore this season which leaves him two more years to become the superstar defensive back that many thought he would become.
