Kansas G Brannen Greene suspended for 6 games

The Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team will be without a key player when they travel to Hawaii for the 2015 Maui Invitational. On Friday morning, the university announced that junior guard Brannen Greene has been suspended for six games.

Green was suspended for “conduct detrimental to the team,” Jayhawks head coach Bill Self announced.

This season, Green has averaged 12 points a game.

Kansas kicks off the Maui Invitational on Monday against Chaminade.
