Ohio State’s Braxton Miller switched from quarterback to wide receiver just a month before the 2015 season began. With that change, he wanted to signify a new era in his career, so he made another significant switch as well.
As a quarterback, Miller wore No. 5 for three years. With the position change, he switched his jersey number to 1. For today’s Senior Day game against Michigan State, it looks like Miller could be bringing his old number back.
It wouldn’t be too hard for Miller to get the number. Freshman wide receiver Johnny Dixon wears the number, so I’m sure he would give it up for one day.
The Buckeyes and Spartans take the field in Columbus at 3:30 p.m.
