Connor Shaw, Cody Gibson watch game from Spurrier’s office

On Saturday afternoon, the South Carolina Gamecocks played their penultimate home game of the season at Williams-Brice Stadium against The Citadel Bulldogs.

In attendance for the game was a pair of former South Carolina standouts, quarterback Connor Shaw and tight end Cody Gibson.

Alongside former Georgia Southern quarterback Jaybo Shaw, Connor’s brother, the ex-Gamecocks watched the game from the office of legendary head coach Steve Spurrier, who resigned earlier this season.

Campus Sports received a photo of the trio in Spurrier’s office.

Unfortunately, South Carolina did not come away with the result the were hoping for as they fell to The Citadel, 23-22. It was the first win over a FBS team for The Citadel since it beat Army in 1992.
