Ezekiel Elliott blasts Ohio State coaching staff after loss

The Ohio State Buckeyes suffered a crushing, last second loss to the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday and members of the team are not happy.

After announcing that he was going pro following this season, star running back Ezekiel Elliott, one of the team’s leaders, decided to blast the Buckeyes coaching staff for their approach to the game.

Elliott said the following after the game, per Rick Pizzo of the Big Ten Network.

#Buckeyes running back Ezekiel Elliott:"coaching staff didn't put us in position to win. That's a team (Michigan State) we should beat." WOW

Those are very harsh words.

It is clear that Elliott is very emotional after such a heart-breaking loss that put the Buckeyes’ College Football Playoff hopes on life support, but he should have taken a moment to compose himself before going on the rant.

It is going to be very interesting to see how the Buckeyes rebound next week against the Michigan Wolverines, but it looks like the coaching staff will have some work to do in order to get everyone back on the same page. It’s going to be a long, long week in Columbus.
