The Ohio State Buckeyes fell in an upset to the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday, but the biggest news to come out of that game might have to do a couple of players.
There has been a pretty big quarterback battle with the Buckeyes and it seems that it might not continue into next season.
Cardale Jones has been listed as atop prospect for the NFL Draft next April, but there was a question of whether he would actually leave Columbus for the NFL. Prior to the game, Jones seemingly confirmed that he would be leaving for the draft after this season.
Jones is not a senior, so this seems like him confirming he will be leaving Ohio State this year.
Following the game, teammate and running back Ezekiel Elliott confirmed that he would indeed be leaving after the season.
The two players may just be emotional after losing for the first time in 23 games, but they still have a chance to make the Big Ten Championship game and possibly the College Football Playoff.
