Max Wittek has certainly had a tough career. After losing the starting job at USC, he transferred to Hawaii, where he looked to turn his career around. However, he didn’t perform at the level Hawaii had hoped for and was benched midseason.
He has faced the ultimate downfall now as an injury has ended Wittek’s college career, College Football Talk reports. He will undergo surgery on his right knee to repair a patella injury.
Wittek seemed to have a terrific start to the season as he threw three touchdown passes against Colorado in the season opener. However, in the eight games following, he three just four more touchdowns and 15 interceptions.
Campus Sports would like to wish Wittek a quick and speedy recovery. Good luck in the next step of your career.
