Kwe Parker is the best dunker in high school basketball right now and he has finally decided where he will be playing his collegiate basketball. According to a report from College Basketball Talk, Parker has committed to join the Tennessee Volunteers.
Tennessee just got a whole lot more athletic with this news and their fans should be getting excited about the highlights that will be coming their way.
Standing in at 6-foot-2 and weighing 165 pounds, Parker is going to have to figure out a way to bulk up. It is much easier to make those highlight dunks in high school without more athletic and stronger bigs standing in the way.
Parker should be just fine from that aspect, but bulking up will be a must to become a lethal scorer like many expect him to be.
There haven’t been many players coming out of high school recently that are more capable of throwing down a highlight than Parker. Tennessee got lucky that he is a raw talent with quite a bit more work to do or else other bigger schools would have figured out ways to bring him on board.
Parker chose the Volunteers over schools like Virginia Tech, Clemson, Rutgers and Wake Forest.
