Wisconsin cheerleaders pelted with snowballs, forced to leave field

Friday night through Saturday morning, the Midwest was hit with some snowfall that left a number of cities and stadiums covered in the miserable white precipitation. For the Wisconsin Badgers cheerleaders, it was even worse.

For one reason or another, fans in attendance — this was a Wisconsin home game, mind you — decided to pelt the cheerleaders with snowballs.

Things got so bad that the cheerleaders were actually taken off the field.

And here we thought Philadelphia Eagles fans were bad. Get it together, Wisconsin!

The Badgers are currently trailing Northwestern, 7-0.
