Bulldogs greet Devon Gales on field after win

Ever since Southern wide receiver Devon Gales suffered a career-ending, life-changing neck injury against the Georgia Bulldogs earlier this season, the Bulldogs have been doing all they can to help the young man.

From helping pay for his medical expenses to making him a special guest at every game in Athens from here on out, they have truly showed their class for Gales.

The Bulldogs just barely pulled off a win over the Georgia Southern Eagles on Saturday, beating them 23-17 in overtime. Following the game, Gales, who was on the sideline for the game, was greeted by many of the players, including running back Sony Michel.

It’s terrific to see that the Bulldogs have welcomed Gales into their family with open arms. They must know that they have certainly gained a fan for life in that young man.

Gales may never walk again, but he nor his family will also never forget the class and generosity the Bulldogs have shown them.
