Only two undefeated teams remain in the country now after a week of huge upsets in the top ten. There will be a big shakeup in the rankings this week, so where do all the teams end up? Join us in our weekly top 25 rankings
1. Clemson (1)
The Tigers are one of two undefeated teams left in the country right now and it has been a magical season right now. Will they be able keep things going?
2. Alabama (3)
The Crimson Tide just keep doing what they have to do. As long as they don’t slip against Auburn, they should stay near the top until December 31.
3. Notre Dame (4)
The Fighting Irish are getting hot at the right time and their loss against Clemson is looking better and better as the season goes along. Beat Stanford and you’re likely in the CFP.
4. Oklahoma (7)
The Sooners have shot up the rankings the last two weeks after two huge wins. They have a terrific quarterback in Baker Mayfield and are likely going to find themselves in the CFP very soon.
5. Iowa (6)
They might not have the prettiest resume, but the Hawkeyes are undefeated and division champions. Without a doubt they will be in the CFP if they finish undefeated.
6. Michigan State (13)
You don’t knock off the defending national champions and not find yourself in the top ten at this point of the season. The Spartans are a win away from going to the Big Ten Championship.
7. Baylor (10)
The Bears jumped back up the polls after beating up the Oklahoma State Cowboys. They still have a chance at the CFP, but they certainly need the help.
8. Michigan (11)
Believe it or not, the Wolverines still have a chance to win the Big Ten and possibly get into the CFP as well. It will take a lot, but this last week will be very interesting.
9. Ohio State (2)
The Buckeyes suffered their first loss in over a year and they are in a bad spot right now. They must settle down and regroup for the Wolverines.
10. Florida (8)
The Gators have been flirting with disaster since winning the SEC East, so they need a huge win against Florida State to stay legitimate for the CFP.
11. North Carolina (12)
The Tar Heels are two wins away from getting into the CFP. Yes, the Tar Heels WILL be in if they knock off an undefeated Clemson, despite their loss to South Carolina looking terrible right now.
12. Oklahoma State (4)
The Cowboy suffered a big loss to Baylor and their chances at the CFP are likely over now. They can beat Oklahoma this week, but they need help from TCU.
13. Stanford (17)
The Cardinal rebounded after a big loss to Oregon. They will be playing for a Rose Bowl spot in two weeks, but they can play spoiler against Notre Dame this week.
14. Florida State (16)
The Seminoles are still sticking around and they can possibly snag an at-large berth in the New Year’s Six with a win over Florida. They must prove they deserve it though.
15. Navy (19)
Navy is a win away from winning the AAC West division and playing for a conference title. If they keep on playing very well, they will be playing in a New Year’s Eve bowl game without a doubt.
16. TCU (9)
The Horned Frogs suffered a big loss to the Sooners and their Big 12 championship chances are over. They are playing for a good bowl at this point.
17. Ole Miss (18)
The Rebels dominated LSU and STILL have a chance at the SEC West. They will be the biggest Auburn fans this Saturday.
18. Oregon (25)
The Ducks have peaked at the right time and they could be playing for a spot in a New Year’s Six bowl game. They won’t win the PAC-12, but it has turned out to be a great year for this team.
19. Northwestern (23)
The Wildcats have a chance to win ten games in the regular season next week. That would be huge for their future.
20. Houston (14)
The Cougars suffered their first loss of the year, but they can still win the AAC and get into a New Year’s Six bowl game. All they have to do is stop Keenan Reynolds and Navy, which is easier said than done.
21. Utah (20)
The Utes are officially out of the PAC-12 South Championship and they just want to salvage their season. They have fallen off in the second half and now they just need to win.
22. Temple (NR)
The Owls are a win away from winning the AAC East, so it is imperative they play well against a scrappy UConn team. They have momentum after beating Memphis on Saturday.
23. Mississippi State (NR)
The Bulldogs won a basketball game with the Arkansas Razorbacks, but they pulled out the win regardless. They can ruin Ole Miss’s SEC chances with a win in the Egg Bowl, so it will be fun to watch this week.
24. LSU (15)
The Tigers are playing for a decent bowl game and possibly Les Miles’s job. Three straight losses is certainly not a good look at all.
25. UCLA (NR)
The Bruins are a win away from playing for the PAC-12 Championship. They must come out swinging early against the USC Trojans during Rivalry Week.
Fell out of rankings: USC (21), Wisconsin (22), Arkansas (25)
