ESPN releases Week 13 CFB power rankings

Take nothing for granted in college football, as many teams found out this week.

Nine top-25 teams fell, with the big one being no.3 Ohio State at home on a last second field goal by Michigan State. As such the Coaches’ and AP Polls reflected the shake up, as did ESPN’s power rankings released today.

In addition to Ohio State losing its undefeated distinction, Oklahoma State can no longer call itself undefeated and we saw LSU get manhandled for the third straight week.

Stanford, Oregon and Ole Miss had the biggest jumps, each rising seven spots after big wins. Houston had the biggest fall, dropping 12 sports from No. 13 to No. 25 after losing to UCONN, ending their own undefeated streak.

The rankings, via ESPN:

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Michigan State
4. Oklahoma
5. Iowa
6. Notre Dame
7. Baylor
8. Ohio State
9. Stanford
10. Oklahoma State
11. North Carolina
12. Michigan
13. Florida
14. Navy
15. Florida State
16. Oregon
17. TCU
18. Ole Miss
19. Northwestern
20. Washington State
21. UCLA
22. Mississippi State
23. Temple
24. Utah
25. Houston

The way this season has been going, I wouldn’t expect the final rankings to look anything like this.
