ESPN’s Fran Fraschilla thinks Ezekiel Elliot should be benched

There was a notable negative vibe in the Ohio State locker room after yesterday’s loss to Michigan State.

In addition to players already declaring their intentions to enter the NFL Draft, players like starting running back Ezekiel Elliot openly blamed the loss on the play calling. Suffice to say that by doing both Elliot caused quite the media frenzy.

One of those media members, ESPN’s Fran Fraschilla, came out and said that Elliot should be benched for their regular season finale against Michigan in Ann Arbor. He added that he might have, “wasted 30 bucks on [Meyers’] new book.”

If Urban Meyer plays Ezekiel Elliott next Saturday, I just wasted 30 bucks on his new book. Above The Line. Need to do the right thing.

After declaring for the draft the way he did and openly criticizing his coaches, it will be interesting to see how his draft stock is affected.
