Jim Harbaugh is a man of the people. By that, we mean that the Michigan Wolverines head coach is someone who will always provide an interesting soundbite that will get fans talking.
Harbaugh also doesn’t like cliches or your typical sports expressions.
That was no different this weekend following his team’s victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions.
After the game, Harbaugh was asked how he is able to keep his team from “laying an egg” in games that they are supposed to win. In other words, how does Harbaugh — whose team is 8-2 — keep his team from choking?
Well, if you would have asked him the latter, you probably would have gotten a decent response.
Instead, we got a hilarious reaction from the head coach when asked about “laying an egg.”
“The egg analogy doesn’t resonate with me,” Harbaugh said, via The Detroit News. “I don’t really like comparing humans to chickens or any other type of animal.”
That is classic Harbaugh right there.
Just like his team, the man always brings the excitement and energy. Now, we will have to see if that energy helps his team finish off the season strong as they cling to their College Football Playoff hopes which are currently on life support.
