Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL and MCL.

Joe Flacco out for the season

It just hasn’t been a good year for the Baltimore Ravens. Not only has the team not performed well on the field after making the playoffs last season, but now things have just gone bad to worse.

The team has announced that quarterback Joe Flacco suffered a torn ACL and MCL at the end of Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams. Head coach John Harbaugh discussed the injury during his post game press conference.

He said that Flacco finished the final series with the injury, and refused to go down before leading his team down field.

“Joe is an iron man. An absolute warrior out there,” Harbaugh said. “We have to rally up and play for him.”

The Ravens are 3-7 after pulling out a last second 16-13 victory over the Rams. The playoffs may be out the question for Baltimore, but playing for pride is certainly motivation enough for a Harbaugh-led squad.

In addition to Flacco’s injury, running back Justin Forsett broke two bones in his arm. He will also miss the remainder of the season.
