Notre Dame will be without KeiVara Russell for the rest of the season

Notre Dame’s KeiVarae Russell out for season

Notre Dame may have won its game against Boston College on Saturday, but that doesn’t mean the team didn’t suffer a major loss.

KeiVara Russell is arguably the Fighting Irish’s top defensive player, but his team is going to have continue on their run to the College Football Playoffs without him. Russell suffered a broken tibia during the game at Fenway Park. On Sunday, head coach Brian Kelly confirmed the injury.

No Russell will definitely pose a problem for Notre Dame during their big game against Stanford next weekend. Should the Irish still pull out the victory, then the playoffs will be even tougher for Notre Dame.
