Urban Meyer ‘not content’ with play-calling in loss to Spartans

The Ohio State Buckeyes suffered their first loss in 23 games on Saturday as they fell to Michigan State thanks to a last second field goal. Following the loss, Ohio State fans and former players began calling out some of the play selection the Buckeyes made throughout the game.

Head coach Urban Meyer was asked about the plays following the game and he seemed to agree with everyone. He said that the plays could have been called better and that he wasn’t happy about it.

Meyer IS the head coach and he immediately took responsibility for the play calls. He knows that no matter what is called, he still has the final say so.

"You point right here," Urban Meyer says, pointing to himself of where blame should go for Ohio State's play calling.

The Buckeyes now no longer control their own destiny for the rest of the year. They know that they will have to come out against Michigan next week and look into producing a better gameplan.
